Baseball: Failure is Good?
The first thing to remember as a baseball player is that failure is good.  If you hit the ball 40% of the time your batting average is 400 and that is not bad.  This simply means that ‘success’ does not come as often when you look at only numbers.  There is more to hitting than your batting average: moving the runner over, bunting, sacrificing, placing the ball in certain gaps etc.

We should first think about what will make us a successful player.  Even has a fielder you may never see a ball the entire game, but you must be prepared as each pitch happens.  This can be mentally draining but learning how to do this can happen.  Do you know how you pay attention?  Recognizing the importance of mental training is your first step and Elite Minds can get you there.
